Artist and costume designer Andre Miripolsky announces a major charity fundraising partnership with Elton John and David Furnish benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
For the second episode of Season 5 on REJ.World, Andre joins George Matlock exclusively for of ENCORE! to explain how proceeds from sales of prints of his Elton Takes Manhattan prints will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and how the original painting will take centrestage at Elton’s annual Night After Party fundraiser next month.
Andre explains plans for pop up shops starting with Dubai and featuring London early on in the line-up.
Andre also explains his fundraising initiative for artists facing hardships following natural disasters, Fear No Art, which pairs him with Elton’s first manager and discoverer, Ray Williams.
Both projects have been many months in the making and Radio Elton John has observed confidences to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
