Christie’s in New York City just had an Elton John pop-up shop.
On the 21st of March in Washington, DC, a pop-up display of collections related to the latest Gershwin Prize honorees (Elton and Bernie Taupin, of course) can be viewed from 5-7 p.m. at the Whittall Pavilion inside the Thomas Jefferson Building.
That is near the Coolidge Auditorium, where from 7-8 p.m., Bernie will be discussing his life and career with Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden.
Every Library of Congress visitor must have a free timed-entry ticket to enter the historic building, located at 10 1st Street SE.
You can register for tickets now.
