Elton John proclaimed that his new album Who Believes In Angels? is not his last album.

“This is the begnning of a new Elton John album career,” he told Simon Mayo on Greatest Hits Radio this week.

Elton and Brandi Carlile were on the show via video link and Elton expressed his surprise that Mayo compared the energy of the new album with that of the live set 17-11-70. Elton said that comparison was “intuitive”. Brandi called it “unbelieveable” because Andrew Watts demand that the new album would have the same energy as the album which featured Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson for a New York radio station back in 1970.
