With a gatefold album of the proportions of Blue Moves, we continue the 50th anniversary celebrations with a second consecutive show. As it is nearly 2 hours long, we have decided to break it up into three parts. We hope you like the more digestible approach as ENCORE! pivots towards this new 3-part format starting with this episode.
We welcome back Martyn Ford, orchestral conductor, whose orchestra features on Blue Moves, plus making his third appearance on Radio Elton John is bass guitarist Kenny Passarelli. And we are honoured to also welcome our first-ever transgender guest, backing vocalist Cidny Bullens.
Following last month’s interview with Toni Tennille, we are thrilled to hear from three more names linked with this epic album that featured 18 songs, and booked no less than 33 artists.
