Bernie Taupin’s U.S. Plans
Bernie Taupin‘s autobiography, Scattershot: Life, Music, Elton And Me, is being published in September.
Ahead of this, Bernie has announced U.S. dates for his book tour. It kicks off in San Diego, California, at the San Diego Union-Tribune Festival of Books on 19 August. Then there’s a virtual event on the 12th of September at noon EDT. You can pre-order the book and send Bernie a question at livesigning.com/scattershot, but that’s not the songwriter’s only event that day. At 7 p.m., he will appear at the PowerHouse Arena bookstore (also an event and exhibition centre) in Brooklyn, New York.
The following day at 6 p.m., Bernie will be atBooks & Greetings in Northvale, New Jersey. Then on 14 September at 7:30 p.m., he’ll be hosted by the Free Library of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he will be accompanied by novelist/musician Wesley Stace.
Two days later, on the 16th of September, the book tour is scheduled to hit the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 7 p.m. Dylan Center Director Steven Jenkins is to chat with Bernie; then there will be a members-only book signing event.
Last but not least is a live and virtual event, Live Talks LA, at the Aratani Theatre on 19 September in Los Angeles, California, at 8 p.m. Bernie will be talking with Cameron Crowe.
