A rare but fascinating find on youtube this week popped up. Elton John hosts the Telepress conference for the music industry in 1981 for his then new album The Fox. It was his first album for Geffen Records.

Not only is Elton amusing in what is a dry run down of business numbers, schedules and forecasts, it is also a fabulous exposition for one of Elton’s under-rated albums – which even Elton is keen to describe as not his best yet.

Bernie Taupin makes an appearance, and Elton forgets the fourth song which Gary Osborne pens. But which one is it?
