During the latest episode of Sautday Night’s Alright (for podcasting) we announced a competition to win the guests’ new book Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road The making of an Epic Album.
The competition had to be restricted to USA and UK at the publisher’s request (sorry!!) but we still had a lot of interest!
Platinum experience subscribers plus those who signed up to free Silver and caught the show For One Night Only this month were able to hear the competition in the 42nd minute of the show.
DJ George confesses he read the options as 100, 164, 174 and 200 pages. The physical book actually has 154 pages but is listed as 164 on Amazon.
We had 200 responses and most got it right – saying it is 154 or 164 pages.
The first correct answer out of the mail bag was: Zick from Florida, USA! Congrats to Zick!
The recently published book has had 5/5 ratings unanimously so far on Amazon.
