Elton’s Documentary Set For European Premiere
The European premiere of the Elton John documentary, Never Too Late, has been revealed. This comes after the announcement of its world premiere next month in Toronto, Canada, to be followed by the first American screening of Elton‘s film in New York City.
The European unveiling takes place on 10 October in London, England, at the Royal Festival Hall. Kristy Matheson, director of the event, said that R.J. Cutler and David Furnish (who will be in attendance, as will Elton) bring ”a great intimacy and exhilaration to the story of one of the world’s most accomplished and beloved musicians.”
Besides directing the movie, Cutler and Furnish serve as producers. Other Never Too Late producers include R.J.’s wife Jane Cha Cutler, who worked on TV’s Project Runway for 16 seasons, and Rocket Entertainment‘s Rachael Paley and Luke Lloyd-Davies.
Tickets for the film festival go on sale on the 17th of September; BFI members can get them a week earlier.
