GEORGE MATLOCK
Co-Founder
George founded eltonjohn.world with Fran Gilles in March 2002. He is based in the UK.
George was a professional journalist since 1990, and latterly works in public relations.
George has since 2004 worked in Polish community radio in London. In 2006 George launched his own Anglo-Polish community radio station Radio ORLA for the UK, Ireland and Poland. In 2016 George launched London Scottie Club, now Scottie Club UK, and its podcast range Scottie Radio UK. Since the website’s relaunch as eltonjohn.world in 2022, he is also host of Saturday Night’s Alright (for podcasting), renamed ENCORE! a chatshow on sister website Radio Elton John.

Co-Founder
Fran co-founded elton john world in March 2002 and is the technical brains behind the sophisticated eltonjohn.world website. She is based in Belgium.

Neil Barrett
Neil’s In The Mix, I Guess That’s Why…
Neil has been an Elton John fan since 1989. He is based in the UK.
He’s a Speech Therapist, but still identifies as a pianist. He has been podcasting about Elton for 10 years, starting with his I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Elton John Podcast podcast, and more recently Neil’s In The Mix for rej.world.
Neil’s research is all about showing the world that Elton and Bernie are serious artists who tell a fascinating story across their careers.

Cheryl is our columnist at eltonjohn.world. She is based in the USA.
She has written editorial content for the website extensively since mid-2002. Also a freelance writer, her articles have appeared in household publications such as Reader’s Digest and Cosmopolitan. In addition, Cheryl’s is a former art agent and critic who was a regular contributor to Manhattan Arts. She now has an online art and music guide: http://artandmusicguide.blogspot.com .
