Many fans will remember David Nutter‘s It’s a Little Bit Funny, a look at Elton’s year on the road during the Louder Than Concorde, But Not Quite as Pretty world tour.
Besides the aforementioned book, David shot a Rolling Stone cover featuring the Rocket Man, and was the lensman on the Here And There and Blue Moves albums.
And he wasn’t the only person in his family who played a role in Elton’s image.
David’s sibling, Tommy Nutter, created outfits for musical giants such as Elton, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.
Tommy died in 1992, but will soon be recalled in a new exhibition, opening later this month at London’s Fashion & Textile Museum.
