Dear Elton John fans,
It has been a pleasure to serve you with this new website in our first year.
Eltonjohnworld.com has been a learning process for us, both in technology and news coverage, as we faced many challenges – online and in the real world. We have shared the ups and downs with you, as that is how life is.
But we have remained true to our core beliefs that there is a more exciting way for fans to organise themselves than had been available prior to March 25, 2002, our debut date, if they want to have an independent voice and platform on all things Elton John.
We always seek to work with others for the common good of promoting Elton’s and Bernie’s works, and to raising awareness about not only their music, but their many other valuable pursuits.
With your help, the readers, we have managed to grow the website, develop more features and invest in more capacity to ensure further benefits to you in the future.
Eltonjohnworld.com is a joint effort of offices in the UK and Belgium. Both offices will be closed from December 23, 2002 until January 2, 2003.
It means that your correspondence will not be attended to until January. But please continue to write in the meantime.
However, we will try to keep the newswire serviced, because as we all know news never sleeps!
As you see out the holiday season, if you have time on your hands and would like to write some articles, please use the FEED ME page to upload your contributions to us.
Why not also get into the swing of things with Roger Pope’s Christmas message, and send a friend an eCard!
As it happens, Roger thinks that Ho Ho Ho was a better Christmas song than the side A from 1973, Step Into Christmas.
Myself and the webmaster would like to take this chance to wish you all a Happy Holiday and a bright 2003.
We would also like to thank you for reading this site regularly, our contributors for their great contributions, and our suppliers for their services and support.
