This Web site was the first to reveal that Elton would be trying to raise money for two cystic fibrosis charities on January 31.
He will be joined by soccer’s Thierry Henry.
Liv is the name of the event, to be held at the Dorchester in London.
Cystic fibrosis is a life threatening, debilitating disease that seriously affects the lungs and digestive system.
The average life expectancy of a CF sufferer is just 31 years. There is currently no cure.
There is a huge lack of funds for research; therefore
all the proceeds from this event will go to the CF Trust in the UK
and the CF Foundation in the States, both of whom are
carrying out vital research into new treatments and cures.
