Celeb Tell-All Has Been Given The Boot

Ever wanted to know nasty Nicole Kidman was, but how unassuming Elton (post drugs) was to Chicago’s Four Seasons staff?

Unfortunately, folks won’t know, because a book by two former concierges has been axed.

Great Reservations: Two Concierges Dish About Outrageous Requests, Celebrity Encounters, and Guests Behaving Badly at a Luxury Hotel was originally due on April 15 from Three Rivers Press, an imprint of Random House, then pushed back to June 10.

Now Crain’s has reported its demise.

The reason given is that the writers didn’t reveal confidentiality agreements with the establishment they worked for.

Abigail Hart and Nancy Joyce Callahan, who claim that Elton refused any VIP treatment and slept in the smallest room available, countered Thursday morning: We informed Three Rivers Press at every turn that we signed confidentiality statements with the Four Seasons Hotel. In the end, according to attorneys we consulted, none of the confidentiality statements we signed applied to the content in our book.

The women, who had been employees at the hotel for 17 years, declined to answer any other questions regarding the book or its future.
