Elton and Ray Cooper were to play two shows in France on December 17 and 18.

These have been put off until 2011. So the show originally set for the 17th at the Zenith in Dijon will take place on February 4 instead. And the concert originally planned for December 17 for the Strasbourg Zenith will be on February 5 of next year.

Tickets for the original concerts will be valid for the rescheduled ones.

Those who can’t attend the rescheduled events should contact their point of purchase to obtain a refund.

Meanwhile, Elton and his group have announced a new ”Greatest Hits Live” date.

On Saturday, March 12, the fellows appear at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Tickets, priced at $29, $89 and $139, are going on sale Monday at 10 a.m. Besides Ticketmaster and the establishment’s box office, fans can phone 1-800-745-3000.

There is a six-ticket limit per customer, and the prices don’t reflect additional facility, convenience and handling fees.
